Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Initial Focus:
- Create and implement Sales Strategies for New Business
- Find, Nurture and Close New Business
- Must be willing to use Social Media profiles for Sales Process
- Implement the newest technology offerings to the customer
- Maintain key relationships to retain clients
- Develop new business travel solutions to meet client needs
Long Term Focus:
- Hire, Train and lead a team of corporate and leisure travel agents to ensure an excellent customer experience at every point of contact
- Develop and maintain key performance goals and manage the performance of travel agents
- Improve internal processes for better productivity
- Manage travel division budget and monitor the financial health of the travel division making recommendations to the executive team
- Respond to high level questions, requests and needs of existing clients
- Other duties as assigned
Skills and Experience
- Ability to develop and execute a sales strategy
- In depth knowledge of sales strategy
- Excellent management skills and experience managing a staff
- Excellent people skills and able to build key relationships
- CMS management experience
- Organization and time management skills
- Experience with Apollo/Globalware, Agency Technologies, iBank/Cornerstone and other travel technologies a plus
- Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point
- Able to manage a remote team using online management software (Monday.com)
- Enthusiastic and excellent communicator both written and verbal
- High integrity is a must

Pay
- $50,000/yearly plus up to 20% bonus on new client growth.
- Benefits include health care at 50% cost share and life insurance
