Responsibilities:
- Assist the supervisor in managing daily operations and activities
- Provide support and guidance to staff members
- Assist in developing and implementing educational programs for children
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for children
- Assist with curriculum planning and implementation
- Monitor and assess student progress
- Communicate with parents regarding student performance and behavior
- Assist with classroom management and behavior management strategies
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in nannying, special education, or working with students is preferred
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- First aid and CPR certification is a plus
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
The Assistant Supervisor will play a vital role in supporting the supervisor in the day-to-day operations of the facility. This position requires experience working with children, as well as knowledge of early childhood education principles. The ideal candidate will have a passion for educating young children and be able to effectively communicate with both students and parents.
