The Fuel Pricing Inventory Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and managing every stage of the fuel supply flow, from purchasing and managing raw materials to delivering the final product. This role ensures that the fuel supply chain processes are efficient, cost-effective, and meet the company’s quality standards and deadlines. Products include commodities such as propane, refined fuels, oil, lubricants, DEF and other related fuels; and equipment such as storage tanks. The Fuel Pricing Inventory Coordinator must stay up-to-date on industry regulations and market trends, and adjust strategies accordingly. They will also collaborate with other departments within the organization to ensure that fuel procurement and distribution align with overall business goals.
Success in this role will be demonstrated by developing and implementing key supply chain strategies to minimize costs, drive asset utilization, and achieve delivery and sales objectives.
This role will be based out of our support office located in San Antonio, Tx.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Overall responsibility to evaluate latest supply/logistics impacts and negotiate term and spot deals

Routing and dispatching of propane transports

Analyze supply chain data and performance metrics

Perform detailed review of existing methodologies and processes and identify inefficiencies to help better streamline operations

Negotiate freight rates with carriers

Develop long term relationships with key suppliers and carriers

Develop overall primary and contingency supply and logistics plans by region

Ensure performance of supply/carrier obligations and manage supply disruptions

Optimize inventory through the value chain for max profitability and security of supply

Support operations on supply and logistic needs

Understand regional/national pricing and supply chain conditions to develop, recommend and make decisions to support demand

Assist in business development of supply infrastructure and internal transport operations

Assist in supply and logistics planning for acquisitions

Oversight of bulk tank inventory management

Serves as market consultant for retail operations

Prepare reports and analytics as requested

Oversee metered trailer optimization and scheduling that will be required going forward

Delivered pricing and routing optimization

- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, management or related field with at least three years progressively responsible experience or related skills; or a combination of experience and education

3-5 years of supply chain management experience and/or experience in the oil and gas industry
- Proven commodity supply chain, pricing and logistics experience
