XSOLIS, is a dynamic and entrepreneurial healthcare technology organization focused on creating an environment for our clients where care givers spend more time with patients and less time with their heads down in paperwork. For the first time, healthcare operations can leverage clinical and risk scoring methodologies to better manage medical necessity determinations, patient flow, patient hand-offs, payer/provider communication, accurate reimbursement.
The Vice President, Product Management plays a central role in guiding the development and success of Xsolis’ product portfolio. In this role, you will be responsible for shaping the strategic direction of our solutions, defining roadmaps, and creating new and innovative revenue growth opportunities for the overall product portfolio. You will leverage a combination of strategic thinking, product design and development, product launch and commercialization skills to drive business value.
In this role, your primary focus will be on mid-revenue cycle solutions, with significant proficiency in utilization management functions. Candidates must have a track record of successfully managing the design and development of SaaS products in an agile environment, along with a keen strategic product sense and passion for solving problems with a customer-first approach.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Market Research: Conduct extensive market research to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscapes. Gather and analyze data to inform product decisions. Monitor and analyze competitors to stay informed about their products, strategies, and market positioning.
- Thought Leadership: Maintain subject matter expertise on Xsolis’ mid-revenue cycle solution offerings and represent Xsolis at events and conferences, engaging with customers.
- Voice of Customer: Partner with customers and internal subject matter experts to understand market trends and curate provided feedback into product vision that is differentiated and delivers unique value. Build and manage strategic relationships with customers to solicit input on product strategy and roadmap priorities.
- Product Strategy: Define and communicate a clear product strategy and roadmap that drives business outcomes, with relevant user/market feedback and competitive analysis.
- Product Roadmap: Prioritize feature and enhancement requests in alignment with organizational needs, stakeholder feedback, and industry trends. Create and maintain a roadmap that outline’s the product’s growth over time.
- Product Development Lifecycle: Responsible for management and/or development of mid-revenue cycle solutions, including development of business requirements, planning, business justification, functional design, process, prototyping, testing, training, verification, forecasting, pricing, profitability, and launch at all stages of the product development life cycle from ideation to commercialization.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a cross functional resource with engineering, operations, sales and other stakeholders to successfully execute the product vision.
- Product Commercialization: Ensuring adoption of products through realization of value and making improvements and adjustments post-launch. Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly measure and report on the product's performance.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- BS or MS degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
- 7+ years of proven experience as a Product Manager, preferably in the SaaS industry
- Expertise of mid-revenue cycle market needs and competitive vendor products
- Strong understanding of healthcare challenges, and regulatory requirements
- Effective stakeholder management experience; maintains strong relationships by involving the right people at the right time throughout the development process
- Clearly articulates customer needs, understands designs of features to inform development, and evaluates how the feature is meeting the needs of the customer and the business to make prioritization decisions and manage tradeoffs
- Working knowledge of healthcare communication standards (EDI, HL7, FHIR etc).
- Effective communication skills, written and verbal. Able to communicate effectively with both business and technical teams
- The ability to work in a fast-paced, agile and collaborative cross-team environment
Working Environment and Travel Requirements
- Work is typically in a normal office administrative environment involving minimal exposure to physical risks.
- Position requires little to moderate physical activity. Mostly sedentary work exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally or a negligible amount of force to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. Work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. No significant stooping is usually required.
