```Duties```
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and fosters critical thinking.
- Assess student progress by developing academic and personal growth goals in an annual Individualized Education Plan.
- Utilize technology and multimedia resources to enhance the learning experience.
- Collaborate with colleagues to align curriculum and instructional strategies.
- Provide guidance and support to students in their career exploration and college planning.
-Provide emotional guidance and professional soft skills to students.
```Qualifications```
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education, or ability to work towards licensure.
- Teaching certification or licensure in Speical Education or the ability to acquire a
license.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports diverse learners.
- Proficiency in using technology for instructional purposes.
- Strong organizational skills to effectively plan lessons and manage classroom activities.
Skills:
- Strong communication skills and ability to visually create communication tools on Google
tools or Microsoft tools.
- Math skills including the ability to calculate percentages, ratios, and interpret data
- Algebra proficiency
