Responsibilities:
- Motivate the pastry kitchen production team.
- Maintain and support while streamlining current processes, e.g. accessibility, quality, and production assurance to guarantee best productivity.
- Review daily production plan to ensure on-time delivery of finished product.
- Provide the staff with the recipes and specs needed to run shifts.
- Support the day-to-day needs of the pastry kitchen production, assembly station and pastry kitchen staff.
- Identify problematic areas, suggest solutions, and participate in the growth of overall catering: Cost, Quality, Presentation, and Innovation.
- Ensure production processes, quality standards and deadlines are met. Adhere to GMP, food safety compliance, HACCP regulations, and FDA regulations.
- Following hygiene process checks recordings and correct any hygiene issues per the policy.
- Support food cost goals and on-time delivery of finished product.
- Check inventory of all raw materials, packaging, and finished product.
- Ensure all necessary tools are always at hand. (eg. Scale, temperature logs, etc.)
Qualifications:
- Proficient in using Microsoft: Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) and general food safety standards knowledge is required.
- Knowledge of catering set-up procedures and presentation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work well in a team as well as independently.
- Passion for working within an international team.
- Hands-on approach, self-driven and dedicated personality
