We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Business Analyst to join our team and contribute to our mission by supporting business process improvement and technology implementation projects.
The Business Analyst will be instrumental in analyzing and optimizing complex business processes within the health and human services sector. You will work closely with project teams to define requirements, design solutions, and ensure the successful adoption of new technologies and practices aimed at enhancing service delivery and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth analysis of existing business processes within health and human services agencies to identify areas for enhancement.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into functional requirements for technology solutions.
- Lead the design and documentation of new processes, including the selection and implementation of appropriate technology tools.
- Support change management activities to ensure smooth transition and adoption of new processes and systems.
- Measure and report on the effectiveness of implemented solutions, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communication throughout the lifecycle of the project.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Health Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Business Analyst, specifically within health and human services or a related industry.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and improve complex business processes.
- Strong understanding of IT systems and how they can be applied to solve business challenges.
- Exceptional communication skills, with an emphasis on translating technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Preferred Experience
- Prior involvement in technology implementation projects, such as IVR / Contact Centers, Electronic Document Management Systems, or other health and human services IT platforms.
- Familiarity with federal and state regulations impacting health and human services programs.
- Knowledge of process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.
- Familiarity with Project Management tools and techniques.
