Position Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Delivery Coordinator to join our dynamic team at Winspir. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient coordination of deliveries, contributing to our commitment to delivering exceptional products and services to our valued customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivery Scheduling: Coordinate and schedule delivery routes based on customer orders and project timelines, ensuring on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Logistics Management: Communicate with drivers and logistics partners to coordinate shipment pickups and deliveries, optimizing routes and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Order Tracking: Monitor and track delivery progress, providing updates to internal stakeholders and customers as necessary.
- Customer Communication: Serve as a point of contact for customers regarding delivery inquiries, ensuring prompt and courteous resolution of any concerns.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including proof of delivery and customer signatures, and generate reports as needed.
- Inventory Oversight: Assist in managing inventory levels and coordinating with warehouse staff to ensure availability of products for scheduled deliveries.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in logistics, supply chain management, or business administration is advantageous.
- Previous experience in logistics coordination, delivery scheduling, or related fields preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
