Ballet Chicago is a leading ballet school dedicated to providing exceptional dance education and fostering a passion for the art of dance. We are renowned for a curriculum based in the Balanchine Technique ©. Ballet Chicago provides exceptional dance training in a supportive and nurturing environment. Our program builds confidence, camaraderie, and community as well as an array of skills that enable students to excel both in the studio and beyond. Through a special arrangement with the George Balanchine Trust, Ballet Chicago performs extensive Balanchine repertoire.
We are looking for a talented Temporary Marketing Assistant to join our team and support our marketing efforts. This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for outreach, social media, and public relations, who is proficient in Adobe InDesign and Airtable .
Key Responsibilities
- Outreach: Assist in developing and executing outreach strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.
- Social Media: Collect and create content for social media platforms following Marketing Manager's Content Plan. Monitor social media messages and track analytics
- Public Relations: Support PR initiatives, including drafting press releases and coordinating with media outlet
- Digital and Web: Support website and email list maintenance.
- Graphic Design: Assist Marketing Manager with editing materials for print and digital.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in marketing.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign and Photoshop is a plus.
- Experience with Design, Email Marketing, and Web Platforms i.e Wix and Canva
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with social media content creation and management tools.
- Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field is preferred.
