As a Technical Writer with LinQuest, you will provide support to the Office of the Undersecretary of Defense for Research and Engineering (OUSD(R&E) Assistant Secretary of Defense for Mission Capabilities (ASD(MC)) and the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Prototypes & Experiments (DASD(P&E)) located in Arlington, VA (National Capital Region). The organization’s mission is to identify, develop, and demonstrate forward looking concepts encompassing multi-domain technologies to satisfy Multi-Service and Combatant Commands priorities for the Department of Defense
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce Integrated Assessment Plans for Rapid Defense Experimentation Reserve (RDER) projects. The Integrated Assessment Plans must capture the objectives, data collection requirements, test plans, test data, test results, and conclusions to produce and summarize the products/documents that clarify the prototype’s features, benefits, and limitations.
- Ensure that all necessary information has been included allowing readers to quickly understand the purpose, performance, and utility of the capability under review.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 10 years’ experience as a technical writer.
- Experience with classified programs.
- Must have technical familiarity with System Requirements, Key Performance Parameters (KPPs), Measures of Performance (MOPs), Measures of Effectiveness (MOEs), and minimum acceptable/desired system capabilities.
- Must be efficient in generating PowerPoint Briefs and Assessments.
- Must have operational analyst background.
- Bachelors Degree
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Must synthesize large volumes of information into concise, well-informed written products.
- Experience writing for an OSD audience is strongly preferred.
- Military or OSD experience
