The Associate Development Manager will play a pivotal role in managing development projects. This position involves collaborating with various teams, managing resources, and contributing to the success of development projects.

Direct Reports: Senior Analyst, Analyst

Manage all aspects of bringing a project from concept to completion.
Identify new potential sites in identified key markets.
Oversee and manage financial models on projects with the help of senior analysts, and analysts.
Manage the Development Checklist to ensure a thorough and complete development process.
Assist in managing student housing development sites under contract.
Oversee the design and preconstruction processes of new construction projects with both an internal General Contractor as well as potential third-party GCs.
Work with institutional equity partners and lenders to close on land and construction financing.
Responsible for the successful execution and delivery of deals / projects on time and on budget.
Demonstrate a strong attention to detail displayed in all work product.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, or closely related concentration; MBA is a plus.
Minimum 5 years of experience in medium to high density student housing, multi-family, or commercial real estate development.

Advanced computer skills in word processing, excel spreadsheet or comparable systems.
Desire to be challenged by projects with high-visibility and to grow professionally while representing the top student housing developer in the country.
Work Environment

Travel: 5-10 nights per month
