Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Group Facilitator to join our team. As a Group Facilitator, you will play a crucial role in providing psycho-education and support to individuals in a group setting. This is an opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of those struggling with anger management issues.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct sessions to teach anger management skills
- Facilitate therapeutic groups focused on various topics such as coping skills, stress management, and self-esteem
- Utilize evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques to guide group discussions
- Conduct intakes prior to group if needed
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation re attendance and payment
- Provide crisis management and intervention when necessary
- Implement behavioral therapy strategies to promote positive change in clients' lives
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Counseling, or related field preferred but not necessary
- experience in conducting individual and group counseling sessions preferred
- Strong crisis management skills and ability to handle high-stress situations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
