Job Title: Pizza Dough Specialist/Pizza Maker/Happy Person
Job Description: Join our dynamic team at the forefront of frozen pizza manufacturing in DC, specializing in the exquisite craft of Roman Style Pizza - Pinsas. We are on the lookout for two individuals with a wealth of experience handling diverse dough types, including pizza dough, bread dough, and wet/high hydration dough.
We are opening a pop up retail location and this position with be involved with customer service, as well as manufacturing.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare dough meticulously following specified formulas
- Shape and portion dough into flawless crusts
- Execute the baking process to perfection, ensuring optimal texture and taste
- Apply toppings to crusts with precision and expertly package the final products
- Efficiently organize and assemble pallets for seamless distribution
Additional Duties:
- Process incoming electronic orders for hot pizza from our production kitchen, operating in alignment with the standards of a traditional pizzeria.
Requirements:
- Proven track record in the food industry, particularly as a pizza cook/baker or in a similar capacity
- Thorough knowledge of food safety protocols and procedures
- Impeccable attention to detail and ability to adhere to recipes accurately
- Proficiency in knife handling for precise slicing and dicing of ingredients
- Physical resilience to sustain extended periods of standing and capability to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds
- Flexibility to accommodate varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.47 - $25.00 per hour
