The Network Support Specialist is responsible for delivering support and customer service for company-supported computer applications and network platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to provide effective guidance. This role requires close collaboration with the Help Desk team and various departments within the organization. It is an on-site position that promotes active engagement in our organization's collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:
- Respond to requests for technical assistance in person, via phone, or electronically.
- Mentor Help Desk team members and assist as needed.
- Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues.
- New computer rollouts and updates
- Add/Change Active Directory user accounts.
- Responsible for network printer configuration and support
- Redirect problems to correct resources if needed.
- Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention (i.e., Cybersecurity)
- Assist the network team with security updates and issues.
- Inform management of recurring problems
- Stay current with security risks, system information, changes, and updates.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of IT customer-facing deskside service and administration.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- Ability to recognize and respond to security threats; experience with Carbon Black a plus
- IT industry certifications preferred such as Microsoft, A+, and Network+
- Knowledge of Microsoft products such as Active Directory and Azure, along with printers and network equipment
- Strong expertise in networking preferred.
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
