Looking for an outgoing and professional individual to fill the full-time position of Optometric Assistant. Assistant will work closely with staff doctors to provide excellent patient care. Primary duties are as an Optician. This includes working with patients on all aspects of their eyewear needs; selection, ordering, dispensing, repairs, etc. Other duties include learning initiation of eye examination with pre-testing, administration of diagnostic and therapeutic drops per staff Optometrists, additional special testing, electronic prescription transmittal, and timely follow up with patients as necessary to provide backup to receptionist and other staff as needed. Occasional travel between Casper and Douglas offices as needed. This is an entry level position therefore compensation is commensurate with experience and training level. Individual must exhibit ability to work well with others and function well under pressure. Excellent computer, communication and organizational skills are a must.

Pay: From $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
