GENERAL SUMMARY/ OVERVIEW STATEMENT:
Under the supervision of the Principal Investigator, the Fellow independently carries out and designs highly sophisticated and independent experiments. They will work in a laboratory space dedicated to the Principal Investigator with additional potential to establish successful project-specific collaborations in a variety of directions.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Priolo Laboratory at Brigham and Women’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School has post-doctoral positions available. The laboratory investigates mechanisms underlying aberrant metabolic processes in mTOR-driven tumors, with attention to therapeutic and diagnostic applications. Projects in basic science and translational research are available, including functional genomics screenings and in vivo metabolic analyses.
QUALIFICATIONS:
The successful candidate will have recently completed graduate studies in a PhD or MD/PhD program with a strong background in Biochemistry or Molecular Biology preferred.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
The laboratory is located in Longwood Medical Area, where several Harvard-affiliated hospitals, Harvard Medical School, Harvard T. H. Chan School of Public Health, and other research Institutes contribute to an active training environment. Laboratory practice is strictly compliant with safety protocols. The candidate will be working with other lab members under the supervision of the Principal Investigator.
