We are seeking a self motivated and organized Home Building Construction Manager to join our team at Parry Custom Homes Columbus. We have been in home building for many years and are newer to the Columbus Home Building Market. For the person who fits our culture, this would present an environment with potential for growth. This position will start out as a project manager on site position and could possibly grow itself into a higher level Project Manager position or a Senior Construction Management role managing our Project Managers depending on your work ethic and ability to be a good team member.
This position currently will oversee the activities involved in building our homes on site - managing and scheduling our contractor crews while ensuring quality while also interacting with our customers.
Weekly travel to Pittsburgh is involved from day 1 for training.
- After 60 Days - We provide a company truck for work use only. We cover the cost all gas and maintenance. For the first 60 days - you will use your own vehicle. We reimburse you for all gas + 500 a month reimbursement for use of your own vehicle for 2 months.
Responsibilities:
Manage your team of contractors to build to build top quality custom designed homes to our customers needs throughout the Columbus Suburbs on a scattered lot environment. Create the best built homes by running an organized schedule and ensuring detailed quality standards to create the best home building experience for your customers.
- Work with home owners daily to provide the best experience in custom home building
- Coordinate the daily activities to complete the schedule on time
- Train, Coordinate, and Inspect work of contractors to ensure quality standards
- Efficiently manage an organized construction schedule daily
- Drive from home site to home site to conduct inspections and train contractors daily
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Previous residential or commercial construction experience or education
- General knowledge of construction practices
- Strong leadership qualities
- Enjoy working with people - contractors and home owners
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Computer skills to schedule and communicate

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
