Job Title: Chief Financial Officer
We are a dynamic organization committed to excellence in our industry. We are currently seeking a talented Chief Financial Officer to lead our financial operations and drive strategic financial decisions.
Job Summary: As the Chief Financial Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the company, providing strategic financial guidance, and ensuring the overall financial health of the organization. You will play a key role in shaping the company's financial strategy and driving sustainable growth.
Responsibilities: Essential functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Manages Accounting Department Staff consisting of VP of Accounting Operations, Sr. Staff Accountant and 2 Accounting Associates. • Participates in pricing for government contracts and performs pricing analysis. • Serves as the primary interface to external accountants, banks, investment advisors, and retirement plan administrator. • Responsible for all Government and Regulatory Filings. • Oversees Government Contract Billing and Collections. • Prepares and Submits to the Government Contract Adjustments necessitated by Government Actions. • Participates in Executive and Compensation Committees. • Prepares and Presents Quarterly Financials to the Board and Board Finance Committee. • Monitors Key Expense Drivers such as Salaries and Food Costs. Prepared recommendations to lower costs as appropriate. • Prepares and disseminates the annual budget and monthly budget variance reports. • Analyzes the impact of economic, social and government on the Company and makes recommendations accordingly. • Other duties as assigned.
Skills: • Strong understanding of financial concepts, corporate accounting, and financial analysis • Knowledge of IFRS and technical accounting principles • Experience in payroll management and strategic planning • Proficiency in financial management and demonstrating strong financial acumen
