Sanitas Medical Center is hiring a Full Time Multi-Modality Technician for our Doral - Miami Dade facility in Doral, FL.
The Multi-Modality Technologist performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative and applies his/her judgment to produce necessary documentation for further interpretation for the ordered exam. The Multi-Modality Technologist routinely works in 2 or more modalities for which they qualify by licensure and Sanitas Medical Center requirements. The Multi-Modality Technologist must rotate throughout 2 or more modalities, where applicable.

Multi-Modality Technician Roles and Responsibilities:

- Performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative. The delivery of high-quality diagnostic imaging services that contribute to accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- Will ensure that proper levels of stock inventory of related supplies are maintained. An efficiently managed inventory system that supports the smooth operation of the imaging department, enhances patient care, and contributes to cost-effective and safe delivery of services.
- Responsible for continuing education and professional development. A well-rounded and competent multi-modality technician who is committed to lifelong learning and professional development, ultimately benefiting both the individual and the healthcare organization they serve.
- Will initiate the sending of stat or urgent exams for further interpretations. The facilitation of timely and appropriate medical interventions for patients with urgent imaging needs, supported by effective communication, collaboration, and adherence to established protocols and standards within the healthcare setting.
- Assist in ACR accreditation process, as necessary. A well-coordinated and collaborative effort to achieve ACR accreditation, resulting in improved quality, safety, and efficiency of imaging services provided to patients.
- This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Associate's degree or higher in a related field from an accredited program.
- Must have a valid ARRT Registered Technologist License.
- Must have a valid Computer Tomography ARRT Registered Technologist license.
- Must have a valid Certified Radiologic Technologist license.
- BLS Certification Required
- Minimum 1 year of experience in outpatient diagnostic facility of hospital required.

The employee will be frequently required to reach with hands and arms, bend, balance, kneel, crouch, crawl, push, and pull. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
