Historic Eagle Waters Resort & Supper Club, is located in Northern Wisconsin in a tourist location. We are seeking a skilled, creative, self-motivated, independent, hard-working person to join our Eagle Waters Family.
As the Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation, maintaining inventory levels, and upholding food safety standards.
We are open year-round, but are extremely seasonal -- Six weeks of intensity. We excel in special events in particular weddings. Our event brunches are renown and popular. Our outdoor patio makes us a summer destination.
We have a banquet room that seats 200+ . We host many community fund-raising events and gatherings in addition to our regular dining service.

**Duties:**
- Lead and manage kitchen staff in food preparation and presentation
- Develop and create innovative menu items while maintaining consistency in quality
- Oversee inventory management to control costs and minimize waste
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards
- Manage kitchen operations efficiently to meet service demands
- Collaborate with restaurant management to achieve overall business goals
- Provide training and guidance to kitchen staff on culinary techniques and best practices
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
**Requirements:**
- Proven experience as a Chef in a restaurant setting.
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, including food handling and preparation
- Excellent understanding of inventory management and cost control
- Familiarity with fine dining standards and techniques
- Ability to lead a team effectively and handle multiple tasks under pressure
- Certification in food safety and sanitation practices is preferred
