Summary/Objective
The Sales Administrative Assistant role is responsible for assisting and providing high-level administrative support to the VP of Sales and Sales leadership team.
Essential Functions

Run and manipulate a variety of reports for the sales and national accounts team.

Prepares presentations for customers.

Prepare and distribute surveys to sales and customers.

Prints, organizes, and packages samples/mailings/giveaways.

Supports Sales onboarding (business cards, GUI setup, etc.).

Coordinates periodic sales programs and promotions based on sales/marketing strategy.

Compiles materials and coordinates activities related to special events such as holidays, new branch/territory openings, trade shows, or anticipated product releases.

Coordinates activities in various departments to ensure sales programs reach targeted customers in a timely and effective manner.

Develops and maintains files related to sales programs, marketing, and special event communications; ensures they are available for future reference.

Confers with vendors and brokers regarding the customer response to promotional programs and general market conditions.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience

Minimum of High School degree or GED equivalent with a combined minimum of 2 years of administrative support experience.

Excellent communication, time management, organizational and interpersonal skills.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Education and Experience
-
Preferred advanced education degree, including but not limited to, bachelor’s degree in a business or related field; or combined associate degree with 1 or more years’ experience in a business related or administrative support position.

Previous experience within a sales or marketing role is a plus.

Previous experience with CRM systems.
Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, tablets.

Must be able to sit for long periods of time.

Must be able to lift unassisted a minimum of 25lbs

Occasionally walking, stooping and bending maybe required when preparing samples and marketing materials.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 pm are typical hours. This position is eligible for the hybrid work-schedule.
