Job Title: Field Superintendent
Reports To (Title): Director of Field

OVERALL POSITION PURPOSE:
We are looking for an experienced team member who is self driven to complete the installations of our Passenger Boarding Bridges in various airports in the US and abroad. We are a growing manufacturing and field installation operation in Fort Worth. Our fast-paced, growing company is looking for high energy, talented people to join our work family and be a part of the manufacturing and installation of key equipment utilized at airports worldwide.
CORE TASKS:
1. Responsible for supervising the installation of Passenger Boarding Bridges at airports and managing subcontractors performing the work.
2. Responsible for, upon arrival at client site, check boarding bridge for possible damage received in transit; missing parts and/or other incomplete items.
3. Accountable for completion of necessary paperwork to document items requiring repairs.
4. Accountable for interacting, coordinating and collaborating with project managers, client's representatives, general contractor, sub-contractors, vendors, etc.
5. Responsible for troubleshooting and correction of items with boarding bridges in a timely fashion.
6. Accountable for completion of installation of boarding bridge within pre-established time frame.
7. Ability to conduct Preventive and Corrective Maintenance.
8. Working in conjunction with contractor or sub-contractor, assure timely scheduling of concrete delivery, plumbers, carpet installers, etc. to assure timely completion of installation.
9. As required, work required hours to assure completion of work to assure timely completion of projects.
10. Accountable for cost containment of installation process.
11. Ability to develop site schedules and accurately monitor/manage tasks to complete projects in time allotted.
12. As engineering changes develop, assist in implementation of changes and modifications.
13. Accountable for timely completion and submission of Travel Expense Reports and Daily Reports.
14. Responsible for effective and efficient training and mentoring of new personnel in Field Installation to assure improved overall performance and quality.
15. Participate and add value as a member of the TKAS Management Team.
16. Engages in effective communication within and across departments.
17. Participate in Company Safety Program through safety meetings, audits, following good safety work practices and maintaining a safety and clean environment.
18. Commitment to quality by meeting and exceeding our customer expectations and continuously improving our quality management system and their processes to create value for customers, employees and shareholders.
Expert Know How/Knowledge:
- • Experience in MS Office.
- Ability to manage field project with minimum management input.
- Ability to pass security background checks and become badged at airports in the U.S., Canada, and other countries worldwide.
- Ability to travel frequently (80-90%) and for extended periods of time (2-3 weeks).
- Electromechanical Knowledge
- Ability to read/understand electrical schematics, hydraulic schematics, and mechanical blueprints.
- Possess strong discipline to provide accurate and timely data.
- Impeccable attention to detail, effective problem solving skills.
- Able to thrive in a fast pace environment.
- Ability to work well with a team.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time – accurately, efficiently and effectively.
- Must be self-directed, well organized and detail oriented.

Expected (Educational) Qualifications:
- High School Graduate with extensive Electrical and/or Mechanical experience or equivalent work related experience.
Expected Years of Experience:
- Minimum 3 years electrical/mechanical experience with minimum 2 years field instillation experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
