Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Follow the guidelines of GMP’s (Good Manufacturing Practices), dress code and product safety requirements
- Maintain departmental housekeeping standards
- Adhere to all Maintenance Department safety programs
- Successfully complete all maintenance work orders upon assignment
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical failures and utilize root cause analysis skills to determine best repair methods
- Repair and maintain electrical and instrumentation equipment
- Fabricate parts for and repair mechanical equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance procedures on all equipment in the facility
- Provide technical feedback to the Operations Team to help operate the equipment efficiently
- Upon assignment, assist in installation of new equipment
- Provide technical support to the Operations Team in new product development
- Work independently and determine proper action in the absence of direct manager support
- Recommend enhancements to equipment and procedures, as needed

Education and/or Experience
- Associates Degree in Industrial Maintenance or related field, or have successfully completed a formalized apprenticeship program
- Computer proficiency in Word and Excel
- Ability to use welding equipment, including MIG, TIG, and Stick
- Pipe fitting skills, including threaded pipe, glued joint pipe, and socket welded pipe
- Experience with machinist tools, including micrometers, calipers, gauges, vertical mill, drill press, and horizontal lathe
- Basic electrical skills, including use of voltmeters, ohm meters, and pipe benders
- Troubleshoot techniques related to PLC controls, including PLC processor faults, input output failures, and inaccurate analog signals
- Determine root cause of failure in complex electrical, mechanical, and controls systems
- Read and comprehend complex instructions, technical correspondence, and memos
- Write technical correspondence
- Effectively present information in one-on-one and meeting situations with other team members and the Operations Team
- Complete complex mathematical formulas, as they relate to electrical and mechanical situations

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Ability
- Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions
- Ability to deal with problems involving variables in standardized situations

Pay: $18.75 - $34.00 per hour
