Location: West Valley
Seeking an Accounting Assistant to join a team processing a high volume of complex transactions; duties will include other operations/responsibilities as needed by the company. This is a full-time in-office position.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Compile annual financial information for external tax CPA review, including financial statements and reports for tax compliance purposes
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
- Assist with corporate finance activities such as budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Perform general ledger reconciliation to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records
- Assist with auditing processes to ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide insights and support decision-making processes
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) to record transactions and generate financial reports
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance financial operations

- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial data and draw meaningful insights
- Proficiency in software usage and advanced spreadsheet applications
- High attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey information clearly
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Adaptability and flexibility to navigate ambiguity and changing priorities
