We are currently seeking a dedicated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Manager for our waste hauling company. As a Customer Service Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction by managing and leading a team of customer service representatives. You will play a key role in building and maintaining strong relationships with our customers, resolving any issues or concerns, and continuously improving our customer service processes.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of customer service representatives, providing leadership, guidance, and training to ensure exceptional customer service delivery.
- Develop and implement customer service policies, procedures, and standards to ensure consistent and efficient service.
- Monitor and evaluate customer service performance metrics, such as response time and customer satisfaction, and implement strategies to improve service quality.
- Handle escalated customer complaints and issues, providing timely and effective resolutions to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Collaborate with other departments, including operations and sales, to ensure seamless coordination and communication with customers.
- Conduct regular team meetings and performance evaluations to provide feedback, coaching, and recognition to team members.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in customer service management, and implement innovative strategies to enhance the customer experience.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, acting as the main point of contact for their inquiries, concerns, and requests.
- Analyze customer feedback and data to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements to increase customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with all customer service-related regulations and requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, communication, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in customer service management, preferably in the waste management or transportation industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing a team and achieving customer service objectives.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and motivational abilities, with the ability to inspire and empower a team.
- Knowledge of waste management regulations and industry practices is a plus.
- Proficient in using customer service management software and tools.
- Ability to handle and resolve customer complaints and conflicts in a professional and empathetic manner.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
