Class B – CDL Roll Off Driver

We are a growing company seeking to add two Class B – CDL Rolloff Drivers to our team. We are looking to fill a part time position (24-32 hours per week) and a full time position (36-40 hours per week) with a 4-day a week work schedule.
Job Duties
- Safely drive and operate industry specialized trucks to transport and deliver waste materials to designated disposal sites, approximately 8-15 times per day
- Ensure accounts are serviced efficiently while leaving customer sites clean of debris
- Communicate customer needs and issues to office and sales department
- Perform daily inspection of vehicles and report any defects needing correction to shop foreman
- Operate electronic tablet for various purposes such as following GPS navigation on routes, recording driver notes, and taking pictures of overloaded or blocked containers
- Secure waste containers properly to ensure safe transportation
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle
Physical Demands
- Must be able to operate the truck in all types of weather, in congested areas, and off-road environments
- Must be able to be able to manually tarp roll-off containers
- Must be able to bend to lift extra materials (weighing up to 90lbs at a time) into containers
- Must exit truck 20-30 times a day to attach hoist cable, tarp, and empty containers
- Shifts are usually 8-10 hours per day, 4 days per week
Required Experience & Abilities
- Must be able to pass DOT drug screen test
- Must have valid Class B driver’s license with clean driving record
- Meet company driving standards and comply with fleet safety policy
- Work independently in absence of supervision
- Communicate with all personnel and management using excellent verbal and written skills
- Past driving experience in the waste management industry is preferred but not required
- Ability to operate vehicles with manual transmissions
Job Details
- 4-day work week
- 36-40 hours a week (full time position; possible overtime in summer)

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
