Due to growth and expansion, Matrix has an open position for an experienced Press Brake Operator for 1st (M-Th 7:00 to 5:30 pm) or 2nd shift (M-Th, 4:00 pm to 2:30 am).

Use the press brake machine to shape different types of metal, primarily sheet metal. To do so, the operators load pieces of metal into the machine for shaping or straightening, aligning, and positioning the material to achieve specific shapes. Must have experience with measuring and qualifying first article parts for buyoff, using tools such as calipers, height gages, etc.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Set up and run complex bend and forming operations on Accurpress Press Brakes
- Run complex programming using all features of the press brake. i.e., Bending at angles, step bends, proper back gauge transfer between setups, delays, etc.
- Run custom jobs using modified punch/die combinations with other tooling (either standard or custom).
- Other duties may be assigned.
