You must have a track record of successfully selling high-value tickets of innovative and creative marketing promotions to key decision-makers in competitive, regional markets.
- You are used to talking face to face, in-depth to decision-makers, from the president to the vice president and director of marketing in large to medium-sized businesses.
- You have mastered and understand the short promotional marketing sales cycle against the incumbent vendor and the lowball specialist.
- You do this because you excel at finding new opportunities and can sell value, impact, and timeliness, not price while managing projects effectively. You must also have strong consultative and closing skills.
You must work well independently, be a self-starter, accept tough coaching, and be held accountable to the agreed-upon goals and activities. You excel at networking, from the chamber of commerce to trade associations.
You should have excellent face to face communication, organizational and design skills.
Experience with marketing, advertising or public relations helpful but not required. You are willing to travel within the region daily from St. Joseph to the Twin Cities.
You must have prior earnings of $100k or more and revenue generation of $1 million or more.
