We are seeking a skilled Construction Supervisor to oversee and manage construction projects from beginning to end. The ideal candidate will ensure that projects are completed within budget and on time while meeting all quality standards.
Purpose of the position
Will perform assigned construction supervisor duties as an Amentum employee onsite at the NASA Johnson Space Center worksite. Supervises construction projects; ensures architectural, mechanical, and electrical designs and drawings for new construction and remodeling projects meet professional and governmental requirements.
Supervises the interaction between engineers and developers during construction, to ensure construction adheres to contract specifications and time guidelines.
Skills:
- Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting construction documents
- Strong budgeting skills to manage project costs effectively
- Ability to effectively manage and lead a construction team
- Knowledge of building processes and techniques
- Familiarity with contract management processes
Additional Education and Experience Requirements:
· Mechanical Supervisory Experience, especially Air Handlers, Demo and Installation, preferred.
· Skills in the design, or inspection of construction, of buildings and utilities, preferred.
· High School Diploma
· B.S. degree in Construction Management - Recent Graduate preferred
Requirements:
· Must be a U.S. Citizen in order to obtain the required NASA badge.·
· Must have the ability to communicate the English language, both verbally and written, in an effective manner.
· Must have, and maintain, a valid Texas driver’s license.
· Must pass a Pre-Employment background check and drug screen test.
· Clean, neat, and professional personal appearance.
· Will ensure quality and completeness of work in a safe and timely manner as well as ensure areas worked are clean, neat and ready for customers’ needs when complete.

· Ability to apply Federal Acquisition Regulations about the selection of architectural/engineering and services fields
