Job Summary: Our Project Coordinators are responsible in helping to oversee the successful completion of all assigned construction projects. The primary responsibility is to bill the projects in a timely manner, including Change Order management, waiver procurement and preparation, and collecting payments from our customers.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Project Set Up
- Verify contracts, subcontractor work orders, and other related paperwork
- Establish communication with designated customer representatives
- Organize all project related paperwork
- Work with Project Managers to set up projects and budgets in accounting program
- Prepare project billing
- Determine scheduled billing cycles, cut-off dates, due dates, etc.
- Maintain accurate records to permit timely invoicing for work completed
- Work with Field Superintendent and Project Manager to establish percentage of completion to bill monthly, bill accordingly and appropriately
- Reconcile billings with customer’s accounting representative
- Reconcile unbilled sales – achieve 100% completeness of the billing process
- Manage Change Orders, Waivers, AIAs and project related collections
- Establish and maintain customer satisfaction
- Establish and maintain open communications with designated customer representatives and title companies to ensure timely payments
- Establish cooperative rapport with customers to resolve open issues
- Promote the company’s image through positive customer relations
- Achieve team performance criteria
- Know the company’s objectives and goals and implement team’s strategy to meet those goals
- Follow Project Manager’s guidance and instructions
- Provide necessary reports and data required to measure results
- Support a profit-driven philosophy for over-all company success

- Proficient with ComputerEase or related software a plus
- Prior construction accounting experience is preferred

Pay: $35,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
