**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. The Behavior Technician will work with autistic children to implement behavior plans, collect data, and provide support to clients in need. They will honor and respect all clients and celebrate all progress. The BT will provide a nurturing and supportive environment. Intensive training and support from the BCBA will be provided and high quality services will be expected.
**Duties:**
- Implement behavioral therapy techniques based on applied behavior analysis principles
- Collect and record data on client progress and behaviors
- Built rapport and trust with client to support progress in goals
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Follow treatment plans using affirming language and supports for clients. Celebrate autism and the uniqueness of each child.
**Qualifications:**
-Associate's degree in early childhood education
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, special education, or related field preferred but not required
- Certification in applied behavior analysis is preferred
- Experience working in behavioral health settings
- Proficiency in data collection and analysis methods
- Strong understanding of behavioral therapy techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
