Southern California Equipment Rental, Sales and Service Company is looking for an Experienced Rental Developer to assist new and current customers with their construction equipment rental needs. Must contact existing and potential customers by phone and in person / in the field as well as obtain new rental orders and provide the orders to dispatch by email and phone to fulfill customers needs. Needs to be able to communicate effectively with both potential and existing customers as well as with dispatch and the rest of the team. Construction Industry Experience and Sales Experience are both required for this position.
Job needs:
- Ability to effectively communicate by Phone, Text and Emails.
- Ability to use programs such as Word, Excel or Fillable pdfs to be filled out for various reasons such as quoting, call reports, daily logs and lost rental reports
- Construction Industry Experience Required
- Valid Class C license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities
- Go out in field and meet with customers face to face, over the phone and through email.
- Answer phones and assist customers in a friendly manner
- Handle customer complaints and answer customer questions
- Look for ways to provide an extra level of service to customers
- Arranges delivery and track equipment movement
- Other duties as assigned
- Computer skills needed to perform job duties
- MUST be willing to take & Pass the physical and drug screen
- Experience in the Construction Equipment industry is needed and experience in the Construction equipment Rental industry is preferred.
- Previous rental developing/sales experience is a preferred
- Some experience operating small to large construction equipment is a plus
- Full Time position: Monday - Friday
