Job Overview:
The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales, excellent communication skills, and a drive to exceed sales targets. A vehicle sales representative works at the client truck dealership selling used medium and heavy-duty trucks. As a vehicle sales representative, candidates will sell vehicles to individuals and commercial transport enterprises.
Duties:
- Communicating with customers in person, via phone and/or email.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Present, promote, and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers
- Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
- Providing information to prospective customers in regards to vehicle financing such as down payments, interest and warranties.
- Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
Qualifications:
- Proven work experience as a Sales Representative
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office
- Strong customer service experience
- Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
- Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills
- Prioritizing, time management, and organizational skills
- Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Technical sales experience
- Ability to analyze sales metrics
- Customer service experience
- Account management skills
- Background in technology sales
