The Ideal Candidate
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized HR Assistant. Our ideal candidate understands the importance of confidentiality, can work in a fast-paced environment while handling a high volume of communication - oral/written/electronic.
The Role
This position will help support the day-to-day clerical/administrative functions of the HR department by performing the following, but not limited to:
- Collect/process/file/scan confidential paperwork and update electronic and paper files.
- Create and update records/databases as needed.
- Run background checks and schedule pre-employment drug testing.
- Prepare and processes new hire paperwork.
- Prepare and processes termination paperwork.
- Assist with recruiting process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Data Entry
- Support HR projects.
- Assist with payroll processing.
- Assist with company event coordination.
- Create labels and folders.
- Help organize company events and activities.
- Running errands as needed.
- Provide support to other areas of the office, when needed.
- Makes standard and routine decisions based on detailed guidelines with little independent judgment (initially, then with more experience the decision-making scope will increase)
- Problems are generally solved with clear, detailed guidelines or by reporting them to a supervisor
- Other clerical-related functions as needed.
Requirements
- Prior experience in an HR administrative role is a plus.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- 3 years of experience using office systems such as Microsoft Office and Excel.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Positive attitude, team player mentality, and willingness to learn and grow in the HR field.
- Must be able to work on-site, Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
