Customer Service Specialist

What would I do?
· Serve as an information resource for customer billing, programming, and troubleshooting questions including ways for existing customers to get the most value from their experience.
· Provide basic customer support for broadband and video services
· Utilize problem solving skills to resolve customer questions and concerns
· Effectively assess and troubleshoot equipment issues
· Maximize opportunities to sell additional or upgraded services to customers as available, while providing a quality customer experience.
· Back-to-back phone calls with customers throughout your day
· Remain current and knowledgeable on every aspect of supported products
· Accurately document customer account records based on actions taken
What’s required?
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- The job is entry level, but you must be willing to learn about satellite technology, and satellite broadband
- Good work ethic without direct supervision
- Willing to submit to criminal background and pre-hire drug screen
What else are we looking for?
- Technical customer service in the broadband industry
- Familiarity with modem and router setup/configuration
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Aptitude for understanding technical questions
- Sales or customer service experience
- Works well in a team setting and can communicate with others
- A drive to excel and complete work to customer’s satisfaction
- Prior experience with ticketing system environment
- Prior experience with Word, Excel, Google Drive, and browsers Firefox, Chrome, Internet Explorer
