Overview:
Hyatt Regency Atlanta North West is seeking a dedicated and experienced Front Office Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality management, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for providing outstanding guest service. This role involves overseeing all front office operations to ensure a seamless and welcoming experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Supervision: Lead, train, and manage the front office team, including front desk agents, night auditors, and concierge staff. Foster a positive and productive work environment.
Guest Services: Ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction by promptly addressing and resolving any guest issues or concerns. Maintain a presence in the lobby to greet and assist guests.
Operational Management: Oversee daily front office operations, including check-in/check-out procedures, reservations, and guest services. Ensure compliance with Hyatt standards and policies.
Financial Management: Monitor and manage front office budgets, including payroll, supplies, and other expenses. Ensure accurate billing and payment processing.
Staff Development: Conduct regular training sessions and performance evaluations for front office staff. Encourage professional development and career growth.
Communication: Liaise with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Communicate effectively with housekeeping, maintenance, and food & beverage teams to address guest needs.
Problem Solving: Handle guest complaints, conflicts, and emergencies with professionalism and efficiency. Implement solutions to prevent future issues.
Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections of the front office and lobby areas to ensure cleanliness, organization, and adherence to brand standards.
Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on front office performance, guest feedback, and other relevant metrics to senior management.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of front office management experience in a hotel or similar environment. Experience with Hyatt brand standards is a plus.
Skills: Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, excellent communication abilities, and a high level of organizational skills. Proficiency in hotel management software (Opera, PMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
