The mission of the Tunnel to Towers Foundation is to honor the sacrifice of firefighter Stephen Siller who laid down his life to save others on September 11, 2001. We also honor our military and first responders who continue to make the supreme sacrifice of life and limb for our country.
Duties and responsibilities
- Orchestrating the Executive Vice President, Development and Strategic Initiatives’ agenda in partnership with colleagues supporting the executive team.
- Master scheduling across three departments under the Executive Vice President, Development and Strategic Initiatives.
- Stakeholder engagement across internal partners, donors, celebrity and other foundation stakeholders.
- Lead the preparation of department’s senior staff meetings, setting the agenda in close collaboration with the Executive Vice President, Development and Strategic Initiatives, and orchestrating all related materials and presentations.
- Direct the planning and execution of quarterly and yearly departmental senior staff and stakeholder meetings, ensuring alignment with the foundation's mission and strategic goals.
- Lead and oversee the stakeholder communications plan and department calendar, in partnership with the Executive Assistant.
- Lead with the Director of Strategic Initiatives, Senior Team, and Executive Vice President, Development and Strategic Initiatives, the development of department processes related to budgeting, donor and stakeholder meeting preparations, training schedules, and the coordination and logistics of large strategy and donor programs.
- Lead overall financial departmental budget, ensuring fiscal discipline and alignment with foundation objectives and policies.
- The primary liaison to internal and high-level stakeholders, with seamless communication and engagement with the foundation and its Executive Vice President, Development and Strategic Initiatives.
- Lead continuous improvement and efficiency of the department’s administrative and operational processes.
Qualifications
- College degree is preferred, and veterans are highly encouraged to apply.
- Minimum of 10 years of high-profile executive support experience, ideally within a dynamic, fast-paced, and entrepreneurial environment.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with a history of driving significant projects and initiatives to successful completion, proactively.
- Strong financial acumen, with experience in budget management and fiscal planning for a budget.
- Exceptional leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Proficient at managing time and resources.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask multiple projects and supervise personnel.
- Proficient of Microsoft 360 products, Google Suite, Excel, and PowerPoint, with a proven track record of leveraging technology to enhance executive's productivity.
Working conditions
Special working conditions may include: a change in days worked, shift hours, and/or working conditions (outdoors or other locations) when participating and assisting in special events such as: NYC Tunnel to Towers 5K Run & Walk, golf outings, and other fundraising events, as required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
