We support, protect, and build property values for our clients through program management and project execution. Throughout the course of each project, we bring both ownership perspective and hotel management expertise to every step of the planning and decision-making process. Our extensive experience of hotel and resort renovations, encompassing more than 11,500 guest rooms and suites over the last five years, coupled with a high level of service orientation enable us to provide clients with the skill, focus, and flexibility necessary to succeed in today’s challenging design and construction environment.
Job Description
We are currently searching for an experienced senior project manager to assist with ongoing hotel projects, and those in our pipeline. Reporting to the Vice President of Project Management, the qualified candidate is a crucial part of the team handling the planning, oversight, and successful completion of all assigned hotel construction projects and other duties. This position is a crucial bridge between project operations and the executive team and will help to position Pyramid Project Management for continued growth.
Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

Assist and augment the Vice President’s activities on all projects
- Assist Project Managers with oversight of multiple projects
- Develop and present detailed project budgets for executive level review

Manage relationships with consultants, contractors, and hotel operational staff

Assist with the negotiation of contracts with consultants, contractors, and other providers

Develop critical path schedules in collaboration with hotel operational staff, design teams, and contractors, ensuring clear communication of project schedules and potential displacement

Oversee and approve coordination of design and construction teams

Assist with issuing requests for proposals, contracts, and other project documents to all vendors on any projects or efforts as requested

Review incoming proposals for accuracy and thoroughness, presenting same to Vice President for approval

Review and recommend for approval payment applications, invoices, and change orders

Review of design and construction documents to ensure compliance with anticipated quality, functionality, aesthetic, and operational standards

Conduct on-site inspections of construction quality of work, taking measures to ensure constant quality improvement and minimizing potential change orders or schedule delays

Report to management on project status and address any matters to be resolved

Other tasks as may reasonably be required
Qualifications:
Requirements
The ideal candidate for this role will have:

A college degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, or related fields.

Relevant experience will be considered in conjunction with or in lieu of education.

Progressive project management experience of 10 years in the field, encompassing renovation and new construction projects is required, with an emphasis on hotel projects.

Travel as needed to ensure project success.

Compensation Range: The compensation for this position is $115,000.00/Yr. - $125,000.00/Yr. based on qualifications and experience.
