Mission + Market is seeking a passionate, results oriented General Manager to achieve success through people, quality and hospitality. Responsible for the overall operation of the business. Key areas of responsibility include team performance, increased sales, profitability, development, training, and retention of staff.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop, communicate and achieve forecasts and realistic budgets, goals, and objectives
- Ensure proper staffing, training and development of a team who are enthusiastically dedicated to delivering the highest level of service.
- Ensure the profitability of restaurant operations by operating within the cost of goods and labor productivity guidelines while providing quality food and exceptional service
- Create authentic guest experiences through a high level of attention and service
- Work with the BOH to control purchases and inventory
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of general management experience within the hospitality industry including experience in training front of house staff
- Strong operations background with exceptional leadership, communication and time management skills
- Positive attitude and people first mentality - passion for driving exceptional guest & employee experiences
- Self-disciplined, multi-tasker with great attention to detail
