Incorporated in 1968 by Nelson L. Schupan, Schupan & Sons has grown from a 6-person scrap metal recycler to an over-500-employee metals and plastics business specializing in industrial and electronics recycling, fabrication and distribution, beverage container processing and materials trading. The company has over 15 locations throughout the widwest.

Summary of Role:*
Transports special events equipment to and from customers in a timely, safe and courteous manner to assist them meet their equipment needs.
This position is seasonal April - October; schedule and hours based on event needs.

Key Highlights of Role:*
- Transports equipment to customer locations for delivery and pickup as determined by the Director of Events & Strategic Partnerships.
- Performs all job duties in a friendly and courteous manner and adheres to all safety requirements particular to the equipment, including Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
- Prompt, reliable customer service.

- While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to extreme heat and outside weather conditions. The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Skills and Abilities:*
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal work instruction and safety standards.
- Ability to work alone and with a team in a collaborative environment.
- Ability to properly maintain equipment.
- Ability to properly complete all paperwork.
- Ability to follow timelines.
- Can work early morning, late night, weekend or holidays.
- Is open to learning more about the event sustainability industry, recycling industry.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal work instruction and safety standards.
- Ability to work alone, with others and with customers.
- Ability to maintain the equipment.

Qualifications:*
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- CDL-A preferred, or at minimum a Chauffeurs license or ability to get it.
- Must have prior knowledge and experience driving a pickup truck with a trailer.
Pay: $16.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
