To support our software teams creating our Leads Platform, we're seeking an experienced Software Engineering leader to guide a remote team of dedicated engineers. As a key member of our Leads platform engineering team, you'll be responsible for driving technical excellence, innovation, and collaboration across multiple projects and initiatives. Your expertise will help us stay ahead of the curve in terms of best practices and industry standards.

Responsibilities
- Lead a high-performing remote team of software engineers (ICs) to deliver complex projects on time and with a high level of maintainability and quality
- Assist in the develop and own the execution of technical strategies, roadmaps, and priorities for the team's projects, aligning them with company objectives
- Coach, mentor, and develop ICs' technical skills and leadership capabilities, encouraging a culture of continuous learning and growth
- Collaborate closely with multi-functional teams, including product management, design, QA, and other development teams to drive innovation and experimentation
- Conduct regular 1:1 meetings, performance evaluations, and goal-setting sessions for team members to ensure individual career growth and accountability
- Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer or similar senior technical role, preferably in a remote work environment
- Proven track record of successfully leading remote teams and managing distributed projects to deliver high-quality results
- Strong technical background in writing React, Node, and TypeScript code, with expertise in at least one of these areas
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and influence cross-functional teams in a remote setting
- Experience with agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban, and a willingness to adopt new approaches as needed as well as experiment to find a better way of working
- Knowledge of modern software development methodologies (Microservices, RESTful APIs, GraphQL, Clean Code, and Automated Testing to name a few)
- Experience with AWS cloud and cloud native technologies
Nice to Have
- Previous experience in a Software Engineering Manager or similar leadership role
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (GitHub, Gitlab, git, trunk-based development)
- Knowledge of GoLang programming language and its ecosystem
