Job Overview:
The Manager of Retail and Operations oversees daily business operations, including sales management, vendor relations, quality control, and customer order management. This role requires working closely with the workshop lead to ensure smooth order execution and deliveries. The manager must embody Urban Spikes' core values and enhance the company's mission and vision through their responsibilities.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
· Orchestrate the display and organization of merchandise in the showroom based on optimal visual appeal and customer accessibility.
· Research and recommend new technologies and programs to address business challenges and improve operational efficiency.
· Provide exceptional customer service by promptly responding to phone, text, email, DM, and website inquiries.
· Foster a harmonious working relationship between the front and back of the house, ensuring a smooth operational flow and a supportive work environment.
· Assist walk-in customers, guiding them through the custom-building process and enthusiastically addressing their needs.
· Generate accurate and detailed invoices for refreshes, walk-ins, and custom orders, ensuring transparency in billing.
· Monitor and manage the production grid, maintaining consistent communication with the workshop lead regarding progress and potential issues.

· Design and manage efficient delivery routes, assist with client deliveries and pick-ups, and ensure proper reimbursement for mileage if not using the company van.
· Coordinate inventory requests with the Workshop, ordering necessary items promptly to avoid potential shortages.
· Cultivate solid and positive relationships with vendors and service providers.
· Promote a family-oriented atmosphere in business practices and customer relations, ensuring a welcoming and inclusive environment.
· Supervise the inventory process, ensuring accurate counts, timely reordering, and minimal waste.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience:
· High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
· Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred.
· Minimum of 3 years experience in retail and/or operations management.
Qualifications:
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, including Word and Excel.
· Strong oral and written communication skills.
· Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks with competing priorities.
· Experience with customer service and inventory management.
· Excellent organizational skills.
Required Licenses/Certification:
· Cleaning driving record
Physical Requirements:
· Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
· Repetitive movement of fingers and hands for computer work.
· Clarity of vision at 20 feet or less.
Mental Requirements:
· Read, evaluate, and interpret data.
· Determine the time, place, and sequence of operations or actions based on data analysis.
· Perform mathematical functions for inventory and billing.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
