Patient Access Manager (Conroe)
The Patient Access Manager is responsible for managing daily operations of all Patient Access functions including the call center, registration, eligibility, check-in and check-out. The Patient Access Manager champions behaviors to drive superior levels of patient service and access as well as employee satisfaction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
include the following:

Plan and manage registration, eligibility, appointment scheduling, and check-in/check-out operations.

Participate in performance improvement activities that ensure important processes and activities are measured, assessed, and improved systematically.

Create, establish, and manage protocols, policies and procedures to ensure efficiency.

Hire and train staff to respond to patients’ needs.

Determine staff schedules and ensure operational standards are met.

Manage patient scheduling and direct patient flow through clinic.

Respond to patient issues and ensure patient satisfaction.

Train, manage, and assist team members with appropriate payment and insurance processes.

Run and analyze management, statistical, and financial reports.

Ensure confidentiality and HIPAA requirements are met when releasing medical records to providers and patients.

Participate and work with other managers and providers in developing good working relationships and processes throughout the Clinic.

Create departmental budget and reconcile expenses.

Serves as a patient advocate.

Ensures compliance with all state and federal regulations.
Job Requirements
:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Health Service Administration or other relevant field from four-year college or university; or at least two (2) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in office management required.
Bilingual – English and Spanish required.
