Lincoln Energy Solutions is looking for an IT Support Specialist to help manage the help desk system for our corporate office, remote locations, and remote users. This position is responsible for handling support requests in a friendly and efficient manner and will work closely with other members of IT to provide project support.

Responsibilities:
- Support users in a Domain environment as the first point of contact for all issues.
- Maintain and monitor help desk tickets and ticketing system.
- Maintain Active Directory.
- Conduct user administration, including moves, adds and modifications of active directory objects, group policies, telephones and provisioning of hosted resources such as Microsoft Exchange mailboxes and groups.
- Support accounting and data entry automation systems.
- Setup and maintain servers and users’ computers.
- Troubleshoot and maintain printers and other peripherals.
- Patch management on select servers.
- Maintain, test, and verify backups.
- Provide remote support as needed.
- Help manage the email filter.
- Provide desktop application support.
- Administrate MDM and deploy device as needed.
- Assist with SOC remediations at the direction of the Systems Administrator.
- Work with IT team to update strategic goals.
- Setup and maintain fuel terminal access records.
- Work on call on rotation with other members of the support team.
- Perform other duties as required.
Education/Experience:
Required:
- Associates Degree in computer science/information technology. Will consider experience in lieu of degree.
- Experience with Office 365
- Help Desk or equivalent end-user support experience
- Experience with Windows 10/11, Windows Server
- Proven problem-solving, analytical and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work with users both onsite and remotely
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as a team
- Excellent communication skills
Preferred:
- Working knowledge of LAN/WAN architecture
- Experience with Group policy
- Experience with Hyper-V
- Experience with VoIP phones specifically Asterisk/FreePBX
- CompTIA A+/Network+/Security+
Physical Requirements:
- Largely stationary role in a clerical office setting.
- Frequently positions self to maintain computers and office equipment, including under desks and in the server closet.
- Frequently communicates with all levels of employees. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
- Must be able to move computers and other office equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery.
