Responsibilities:
- Assist in providing patient care under the supervision of a licensed therapist
- Set up and prepare treatment areas for therapy sessions
- Clean and maintain equipment and supplies
- Escort patients to and from therapy sessions
- Monitor patients during therapy sessions and report any changes or concerns to the therapist
- Assist with exercises and therapeutic activities as directed by the therapist
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment sessions
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Familiarity with acute care hospital environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
