Key Responsibilities
Pre-Opening and Ongoing:
Working alongside the owner, the General Manager will assist in developing framework for the successful opening of the business to include the following elements:
- Partner with vendors to establish and integrate Point-of-Sale (POS) systems, including installation, training, and ongoing maintenance.
- Oversee the setup and management of facility utilities, including electricity, water, gas, internet, and security systems.
- Collaborate with construction teams to ensure a smooth transition upon completion and oversee the setup of all facility technologies.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive cannabis sales plan, adhering to all state regulations.
- Establish and manage a reservation management system to handle guest bookings prior to opening and upon launch.
- Recruit, hire, train, and manage a team of talented and dedicated staff members.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment that prioritizes excellent customer service.
- Develop and implement operational procedures to ensure smooth daily operations across all locations.
- Manage inventory control, procurement, and vendor relations.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations regarding cannabis sales and social club operations.
- Oversee facility maintenance and security measures.
- Develop and manage budgets, track expenses, and contribute to the overall profitability of the club.
- Analyze operational data, identify areas for improvement, and report key metrics to ownership.
- Adjust and perfect operating procedures during the first 90 days of operation.
- Cultivate a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere that reflects Cirrus' brand ideals for all guests.
- Completes other duties and resources as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in hospitality management, restaurant operations, or a similar field, with a proven track record of successfully launching new locations.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized with a strong work ethic.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, personal computers and point-of-sale systems.
- Passion for cannabis and a deep understanding of its unique consumer base (a plus).
Compensation:
NOTE: Compensation for this job begins at the $75,000 mark prior to opening. Once Cirrus is open and operational and generating cash flow, we expect to raise the GM to $100,000.
