Position Summary
Our client is looking for a self-driven and passionate individual to join their engineering team to deliver zero-carbon industrial heat and power with our novel solid state thermal battery. The Process Engineer will scope, define, and design process details for balance-of-plant (BOP) systems for our client's thermal energy storage projects across test and commercial sites. This person will be a key technical member of a cross-functional and rapidly growing organization. The work will directly contribute to the testing and commercial deployment of an innovative long-duration energy storage technology.

-
Review cross functional team designs (equipment specs, piping design, etc) to ensure they meet the process requirements.
-
Key participant in PHAs, HAZOP, and/or HAZID workshops.
-
Perform engineering trade-off case studies that balance performance, cost, and schedule to drive architecture alignment, via quick (spreadsheet) and thorough (model-based) approaches, depending on the situation.
