We are seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LISW) to join our team. Pediatric Associates is a private pediatric practice that integrates medical and behavioral healthcare. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LISW), you will provide short term counseling services to the pediatric client and their family, while working alongside med management and medical providers to provide excellent continuity of care. In your job, you will have the ability to see a variety of diagnoses and presenting problems including: ADHD, anxiety, stress management, coping skills development, social skills, and ODD.
```Responsibilities:```
- Conduct patient assessments to identify their needs and develop treatment plans
- Provide individual counseling services using evidence-based therapeutic techniques
- Utilize motivational interviewing and crisis intervention strategies to support clients in achieving their goals
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive treatment
- Conduct case management activities, including referrals and follow-up services
- Stay up-to-date with clinical research and best practices in the field
- Assist in coding and documentation of patient encounters for billing purposes
```Qualifications:```
- Master's degree in Social Work or related field - Required
- Current state licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LISW)
- Experience in conducting patient assessments and developing treatment plans
- Proficiency in utilizing systems theory in clinical practice
- Strong case management skills
- Familiarity with coding and documentation requirements for billing purposes
- Ability to provide crisis intervention services
- Knowledge of PTSD care is a plus
