DESCRIPTION
As a clinician at Molen Orthodontics we strive to provide our patients with exceptional patient care. We are known for creating smiles that are unique and custom to each individual. We standardize our way of patient care and do not cut corners. There is room for growth and development as you learn the Molen Method of patient care. There are six different skill levels of a clinical assistant.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- As a clinical assistant, your mission is to guide patients through their treatment in a smooth and comfortable manner
- Assist the doctor during procedures
- Anticipate doctors needs
- Use the Dolphin software system to seat your patient, complete chart notes, and schedule appointments
- Complete a list of morning and evening duties daily
- Taking and accurately record treatment notes
- Proper set up of patients chair
- Proper set up of procedure trays
- Knowledge of bracket verification
- Ability to take clinical impressions
- Ability to take diagnostic records including photos, 3D x-rays, panoramic x-rays and cephalometric x-rays
- Clean treatment areas following proper sterilization techniques
- Communicate proper instructions with patients
- Properly assess Oral Hygiene based on a grading system
- Able to adapt and think in a busy atmosphere while not jeopardizing patient care
- Knowledge of dental terminology
- Complete each specific appointment in the given time allotted based on Clinical Level
- Willingness to work hard
- Ability to communicate and work closely with the Clinical Flow to make sure the patient flow is seamless throughout the day
- Ability to perform but not limited to clinical procedures such as fitting bands, herbst crowns, routine arch wire changes

QUALIFICATIONS
- Exceptional chairside manner with a positive attitude
- Proper time management skills and ability to think ahead
- Extreme attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Punctual and dependable work ethic
- Team oriented
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to stand for longer periods of time
- Dental Assisting License
- Experience with Invisalign is a plus
Candidate would be required to travel between Sumner, Auburn, and Enumclaw offices.
Pay listed is starting wage rage. Wage is negotiable with Dental Assisting and or Orthodontic experience.
