We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Associate Attorney to join our legal team. The role will be in Corporate Debt Relief. Must be knowledgeable regarding UCC laws and regulations, specifically UCC Article 9. Prior experience with debt negotiation surrounding debt relief with UCC security an added bonus. You will have the opportunity to manage your own clients, work load, and cases. Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, contracts, and agreements
- Assist with case management and preparation for settlements
- Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in legal proceedings
- Stay up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations relevant to the practice areas
Experience:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the state bar association (Florida/Va./Multi jurisdiction)
-Must be knowledgeable regarding UCC laws and regulations, specifically UCC Article 9.
- Previous experience working as an attorney or in a legal setting preferred
- Strong negotiation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with legal research platforms such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw
